I am an active lady that enjoys travelling. Living in Devon, I am a retired tutor, a non-smoker, enjoy the outdoors and love animals. I have a quiet simple and very healthy lifestyle and will take excellent care of your pets, home and possessions as if they were my own. I understand the need to have trusted caretakers for your home and beloved pets while you are away. I am very responsible and will follow your instructions and respect your needs so you can relax and enjoy your time away.
I have travelled, worked and lived in the UK, and Europe. My interests include biking, nature, hiking, camping, photography, animals, reading, meditation, yoga and art.
Why I want to housesit:
At this stage of my life, I have recently retired and want to live lighter, travel and create new experiences and friendships that house/pet sitting can bring. Being able to care for your precious pets and home are something I honour and take seriously. I want to see the world and housesitting allows me to be in an area for a longer period of time to explore the culture, the neighbourhood and the sights.
What I bring to the assignment / relevant experience:
I have had the privilege to house and pet sit since 2012 in England and Europe. I managed a 24 bed Youth Hostel, have cleaned summer cottage rentals, as well as maintained my own home. I would treat your home with respect and look after it as my own. I am experience with pet care having owned dogs and cats in the past and have also taken care of others' pets. My housesitting experiences have been very rewarding & I am looking forward to many more positive experiences. I prefer longer terms but will certainly consider short term as well.
