As a writer, teacher and traveler, I have been housesitting and caretaking properties for the past 15 years as a means to explore different cultures, lands, people and experiences. I live and rely on trust and faith, and am constantly amazed at the wealth of resources that are always available...whether it is the plumber or contractor friend who helps during a sewage back-up, or shows up to fix the broken gutter from a wind storm...what I know of houses, people and pets is that we are fragile- we need support and resources. My greatest strength and gift is my "resourcefulness, and thoughtfulness" in looking out for, supporting and providing peace and comfort for homeowners- their homes, and their fur babies. Pets and plants are often distraught and sensitive when their families leave, and I have learned how to support them as much as I do for my students and clients in therapy. I have a reputation as dependable and reliable, independent, empathetic and of high integrity.
In between traveling, I have lived in Colorado Springs for the past 15 years where I caretake and housesit for repeat clients year after year. I run my own Therapy and Yoga business where I am able to create my own schedule so that I can travel and housesit on the side. I don't have pets of my own at this time, so I love to spend time getting to know and care for other people's pets.

I am a gentle and insightful person, and appreciate solitude, mindful situations, and beautiful places to experience peace. I enjoy time in meditation, hiking/walking and writing daily, and the pets and plants I care for generally respond and absorb well to the meditative energy. I am also a Trauma Therapist - and have worked as a teacher in classrooms with lots of children who need attention and care. I tend to thrive in emergency situations and take charge and leadership when there is a need.
