Retired couple, living on the Maine coast, a builder and elementary teacher interested in house sitting in northwestern or northeastern Connecticut for winter months.
S. has had extensive building and renovating experience and is able to identify house problems and is willing to do minor repairs and supervise other repairs. Both are non-smokers and do not drink alcohol.
We've moved to the Maine coast --- and it has been an adventure --- including our twenty-five foot sailboat moored in the harbor we overlook, hiking with Audubon groups, and volunteer work at our local library, art associations, and Grange. However, we miss being closer to our Connecticut family members and friends and our year-old aunt and special cousin and husband.
Being close to transportation to visit near-by cities with all their cultural wealth appeals to us, also.
Both S. and J. are animal lovers having had first-hand experience with cats, dogs, sheep, geese, horses and a steer.
