I am retired and love to travel. In 2012 I spent 5 months as a volunteer monitoring wild animals in S Africa and working with injured and orphaned wild animals.
I have an up-do-date satisfactory police/criminal check; I was a "VIP" (Volunteer in Policing) at my local police station for some time and also have a satisfactory Working With Children Check, which is probably appropriate for looking after pampered pets! When I'm not travelling, and pre-Covid, I volunteer with various organisations, doing everything from crowd control to stuffing envelopes. As a Justice of the Peace I also 'manned' a desk in a busy shopping centre.
House and pet-sitting keep my itchy feet happy - a change of scenery and having some cuddle-time with other people's fur babies. I would have a pet of my own, however as I am still restless I wouldn't be at home much so Housecarers' bookings give me that 'pet-time'.
I am a non-smoker, animal lover, fit and active, happy to water plants. You can safely leave the care of your house and pets to me.
