Allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Kevin and Valerie. We are ages 61 and 53. We are retired and therefore we have complete flexibility with our time. We are mature, reliable and responsible. We have been homeowners but have chosen to give that up in order to have the opportunity to travel and spend time in many different areas of the US and other parts of the world. We retired at the end of For 10 years prior Kevin was working in the Information Systems Division of American Honda in Torrance, CA, and Valerie had been a Regional Specialist with the cosmetics manufacturer Merle Norman for 15 years.
If you should choose us for your house sitting needs, you can be assured that your home, perhaps your pets and your possessions will be cared for in a manner to meet the highest possible standards. We will work with you to determine your exact expectations and define plans for handling any situation which may arise.
We enjoy pets of all kinds and will provide for their care according to your instructions. I grew up on a farm and therefore am comfortable around all kinds of animals. Our interests include hiking, bicycling, skiing, reading, movies, cooking and, of course, travel. We are available for short term assignments as well as for up to four months. Naturally, we expect that you would want to meet us prior to finalizing any assignment. If it is not convenient to meet in person we can video conference with you.
As it now stands, we will be available for an assignment beginning anytime and we are generally around Southern California when not traveling. A more detailed personal history and references are available upon request.
