We have lived and worked in Oregon and Hawaii for the past thirty years.
After retiring in 2012 we decided to look for some new adventures. So far we have experienced S France for six months where Al got to show off his love of gardening on the estate we sat. Then we enjoyed another sit in an 18th floor condo in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Last year we had a sit in Hervey Bay, Australia and one just outside Melbourne as well as a 6 week sit on Maui, Hawaii.

Al taught special education at the high school and middle school level for over 20 years.
Both of us have a deep love for animals. We have always had a cat and a dog who were members of our family.
I worked as a teacher's assistant in special ed for the past 6 years after hairdressing for 20 years and ran my own salon for 6 of those years.
Al is a very talented fine furniture maker and I have quilted for many years. We are both voracious readers.
I hope you have some gardening for Al to do as he has a real passion for it.
We seem to bond quickly with animals (I think Alfred is an Animal Whisperer).
