I am a friendly and responsible single woman with a good head on my shoulders. I have completed my BSc, majoring in Zoology and Ecosystem Management, and am currently in the write up phase of my PhD, so I am looking for a nice quite place to complete this. Currently I hold a research assistant position at a Sydney university so need to stay in the Sydney area. I absolutely love animals and really miss not having any around. For my last housesitting placement I lived with both a dog and a cat, who both thought they were human so no animosity. This included twice daily walks, feeding and many many cuddles and love for both. Bella the dog was/is a Labrador cross Pharaoh hound, so I am used to handling large dogs. I myself had a German Shepard who died a few years back at the ripe old age of 16. Due to his large size and gregarious nature I took both myself and Max to puppy and then later dog school, where I learnt several skills on dog handling. Although most of my experience is with dogs and cats I love all animals and would be happy to be with any. I have also been trained by and am a member of Landcare, Rivercare and Dunecare so if its garden/vegetable patch maintenance you are after I am up to the job, no problem, I actually love gardening it is relaxing and extremely therapeutic. Through my many jobs as a researcher, research assistant and technician I am able to work most things out so whatever your needs whilst you're away I will manage it with little to no fuss. I have a Police Clearance certificate and am happy to sign a housesitting agreement if that offers you greater peace of mind. I am a non-smoker, reliable, honest, sensible, neat and tidy. I appreciate your need to feel comfortable with leaving your precious possessions in someone else’s care, but I can guarantee you that I will love and respect your home and pets as if they were my own and am more than capable of maintaining your property to a high standard.
