Deirdre has a background as a Business and IT Lecturer and is highly organised and IT savvy. Colin previously owned his own kitchen renovation business and also worked for two years as a groundsman and pest controller in Rarotonga. He is very good at managing the home and garden maintenance side of things. We owned a much-loved Birman cat for over 15 years and she is still missed. We have enjoyed caring for both dogs and cats in housesit and house rental situations during our travels.
We can be flexible with timing and are open to housesit enquiries from anywhere. We would prefer to be somewhere warm in our NZ winter (June-September). We love the outdoors, pets and wildlife and prefer quiet, natural areas close to a beach or lake.
We have housesat and home exchanged very successfully in New Zealand, Australia, Rarotonga and New Caledonia and enjoyed caring for those homes and pets. We also completed a motorhome exchange with Noosa in 2011 and loved touring in Northern Queensland.
We are very responsible, respectful and caring of others' property and pets.
