My name is Amy, and my husband Tim and I are returning to Sydney after two years in the UK. We would love to do some house sitting while we save for a house deposit, as we have really enjoyed our house sitting experiences in England. Currently, we are available from June 2014.
I am a librarian by trade, and Tim owns a small business in Sydney. We are a quiet and responsible couple- we rarely stay out very late, and we don’t throw parties. We enjoy spending time outdoors, but we are equally happy in town as in the country. We have previously rented and been a landlord, so we are used to keeping a house clean, tidy and well maintained, and resolving problems as they occur.
We love living with animals, as we have both had pets for most of our 31 and 37 years- the majority have been cats, dogs and birds, with the occasional fish, poddy lamb and hermit crab thrown in! We would be very happy to take care of any pets you may have, and you can be sure that we will look after them, play with them, walk or run them regularly, spend time with them and generally treat them as if they were our own. We would also be willing and able to maintain your gardens, as Tim has a horticultural background and we both have an interest in growing vegetables. For us these responsibilities would be a pleasure, rather than a chore!
We are interested in house sitting in the Inner West in Sydney as we both have family in the area, although we would be willing to consider surrounding areas as well. We are non-smoking and have no pets or children of our own. If you think we might be the perfect house sitters for you, we’d love to hear from you.
