I recently retired from teaching and am looking forward to starting a new life. I have always loved to travel. In college, I spent a semester in France and then backpacked throughout Europe. I lived and worked in Indonesia for two years. I have traveled to many other countries as well as several places within the United States. I have done some house sitting and/or pet sitting for friends and I now have an official "house-sitting" experience under my belt. Now that I am retired I am excited to broaden those experiences and meet people and see other places throughout this country and the world Being a teacher for so long made me organized, responsible, and good at details. And I love animals! I lived on a ranch as a young child, always had dogs, have a little pet-sitting experience with dogs and cats (for friends), had a pet rabbit (as a kid), had pet snakes (I know, yikes! ~ my college roommates weren't so excited about them), and I was always fascinated by our aquarium as a kid. I do not smoke and rarely drink. I enjoy being outside so I would love to walk your pets if you have any.
