Good morning,
We are an Italian couple who currently lives in Panama'. We left the Italy about 4 years ago in search of new experiences and life. We work for years in the tourism sector/hospitality, the last as owner-managers. Before embarking on our journey-work, Andrea took care of Food distribution in Italy and in Europe, as District Manager for a multinational company in the industry (over 15 years experience), while Maddalena, finished high school, at the age of 18 years began to get work experience in the field of tourism/hospitality in Europe and Italy, arriving to play roles of Chef de Rang, Maitre, a cook and ..ing to open his own business.
HERE ARE OUR EXPERIENCES OF RECENT YEARS:
September 2011-July 2012: MEXICO-Hollbox Island, Quintana Roo
ECO RESORT CHIMAY (2 hectares property) front of the beach. Our responsibility:
– Chefs and Barmans for Restaurant/Bar – Complete property Maintenance (gardening, cleaning, plumbing, electrical maintenance, maintaining the completely structure built with local lumber – Care of the animals inside the property (2 dogs, 1 cat and 1 Raccoon)
Luglio2012 – November 2012: BELIZE-Placencia,
Ltd.RESORT ADVENTURES KAYAAK CLUB, beach front, in the role of Housekeeping /Innkeepers/Caretaker. Our responsibility: - Kitchen restaurant – Bar – Cleaning and maintenance of structures (houses, gardening, vegetable garden, building new welcome house in bamboo and recycling materials). – Maintaining any structure built in wood – Maintaining plumbing – Maintenance of electrical installations – Animal care of property (2 dogs, 2 parrots). – Creation of a new logo and advertising.
November 2012 – April 2013 : PANAMA ' – ArcipelagPearls Islands (Pacific coast)
Bed and Breakfast, individual properties and rental Business vehicles (ATV) in the role of Manager responsible for staff management, Innkeepers Housekeepers, Caretaker.
Structure: • Bed and Breakfast consists of 3 houses of different sizes • Home P.- Luxury Villa with capacity for 8/10 people, equipped with pool • Villa A- Villa with capacity for 4/6 persons • Apartment in Residence – capacity for 4/6 persons • House K- Luxury Villa capacity for persons, 2 private pools – • Rent Kawasaki Mules (ATV for 2/5 people, 4 x 4) -Spanish and English
April 2013 – July 2013 : PANAMA ' – San Blass Islands Archipelago consisting of more than 400 islands in the Caribbean Sea in Guna Yala Indigenous Communities (Second smallest tribes in the world after the Pygmies) Our responsibility:
• Cooks in an island of the archipelago • Construction and maintenance of new area/kitchen Life in close contact with the indigenous Guna Yala tribe and the incredible nature with some difficulties: lack of drinking water and electricity.
July 2013 – October 2014: PANAMA – Azuero peninsula. Bed and Breakfast LA BUSSOLA – owners/administrators
Property of about 6000 m/q beach front, composed of a main building situated on the main road and 4 separate and individual facilities with direct ocean view, private beach with a small bar.
Created a new web page de La BUSSOLA B&B ( which is currently under renovation with new concepts. Begin to work with Booking (See travelers reviews: LaBussolaB&B, Las Escobas de el Venao, PEDASI)
• We speak Italian (mother tongue), Spanish fluent (spoken and written) – good English (spoken and written) • PADI (Open Water, Advanced, and Rescue) • Driving licence A/B (motorcycle and Drive up to 35qtl.) • Sports: swimming, windsurfing, rock climbing, diving, kayaking, tennis, judo •Possibility references (employers and job postings for B&B guests) • Possibility of C.V. related to work experiences before our transfer abroad.
