I am a 42 year old woman traveling for an extended period of time. I worked in the corporate world most of my life and after a lot of careful planning decided to leave it behind to pursue my dream of travel. I lived in Kenya for over three months, went to S. Africa and now I am in SE Asia. I would love the opportunity to see more of the world. Housesitting could provide that since I prefer slow travel and immersing myself in local cultures rather than being a typical tourist.
The benefits of having me watch over your home and care for your precious pets is that I am able to provide varied services and offer security while you are away. I am skilled in gardening (I love plants and worked part-time in the garden center of Home Depot), basic care and tidiness of a home (I have owned homes), and I am a full-blown animal lover - I love them all, even the reptiles! I've owned mostly large dogs and several cats in my life and truly miss their company during my travels.
Having been a manager of several departments in the company I worked for, I understand the importance of confidentiality and privacy. I will treat your home and belongings with respect. I am a non-smoker and will respect your neighbors. When you return you will find your home just as you left it.
