Triple vaxxed about to get 2nd booster, single, non-smoking female with an employment background in security services, a graduate of the Justice Institute of BC, graduate of RMTI Resident Manager Training Institute for property management, hospitality (Pan Pacific & Four Seasons Hotels) and years of retail customer service. I've been working full-time as an event planner for the past 18 years. My work takes me outside of the home 1-2 evenings per week for 4-5 hours. Other than that, I'm very much a homebody and make a great companion for your pets!
I'm most experienced with and have a preference for small dogs under 25 lbs. I will also look after medium size dogs and docile larger dogs that are easy to walk/control or are senior. I'm able to care for all your little critters under your instructions. I'm sorry but I'm not available for reptiles, arachnids or cats (outdoor cats ok!)
My needs are quite basic. A clean, comfy home to live in & look after without any other people living there or coming and going without notice. A dedicated parking spot, ideally close to the door for those load in/out's in the rainy wet coast weather, and fast, reliable internet!
Stand-alone houses with ground floor access outside are best as I have two little sidekicks, a 20 lb Pom & a 13 lb Min Pin mix in the photos, that are part of the package! They are mellow senior dogs aged 8 & 10.
Apartments can work if my dogs are allowed and there is a balcony for potty. Both dogs are very social, house trained, fixed, up to date on shots and used to interacting with lots of furry doggy friends as we've been house & pet sitting for the past 8 years (prior to the pandemic) in addition to my caring for dogs in my home M-F daycare and 24/7 vacation stays.
I provide loving care for small to medium size dogs that are good with one 35-minute daily walk, a run around the yard, playing inside or shorter walks to do their business. Many of my clients with high-energy dogs have dog walkers that continue their usual schedule while I'm there. My pups and I love to go on walks, visit the dog park or play fetch in the yard - whatever suits you best!
I give my clients pets my full attention, first & foremost as they're the reason I'm there and are very likely missing their mommy and/or daddy. My two little ones are along for the ride, and we'll all have a wonderful time together!
I'm currently available from October 2, 2022, to the end of November and then again from approximately January 11, 2023, onward. Stays of a week or more are preferred but I'm open to shorter ones depending on my schedule and the location. I expect to be away from Dec 1 - Jan 10 however I would consider changing my travel plans and could be available in December and January if hired for longer stays of 14 days or more.
