I am a retired, non-smoking, active lady who enjoys looking after dogs. I began my house/pet sitting September in Inverell where I had two long term assignments. The first I looked after Molly the Collie for eight weeks followed by 13 weeks with Jack the Jack Russell. I had a couple of weeks of looking after Ebony the miniature poodle and seven weeks at Port Macquarie with Honey the Cavoodle. Future housesits include Lake Macquarie, Brisbane and Peregian Springs on the Sunshine coast.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year of housesitting, enjoying the exercise, getting to know different places and the social aspect of dog walking. I am looking forward to looking after a variety of dogs over the next couple of years before I get my own dog and settle back into everyday life in Brisbane. I have been putting off getting my own dog for some time now due to extended overseas travel overseas but by housesitting I have been able to look after some lovely dogs and still fit in some overseas travel.
I have lived in my own home in inner city Brisbane for 12 years and before that in my own home in Sydney for 19 years and am used to keeping a neat and tidy place. I am happy to do some gardening and lawn mowing.
