We're on an adventure, looking to travel from Vancouver all around the perimeter of the USA in search of a few memorable moments as part of a lifetime dream.
Along the way, we know we'll have to stay in the odd motel here and there, but really we want to live as the locals live. Eat as real people eat. Write every day about our experiences.
We've spent . months in Europe in vacation rentals...a week at a time...and loved that experience. Instead of vacation homes...this time we're looking at real homes.
As for our experience, Chris is a mechanical design engineer. He is constantly fixing things around the house as well as work. He also comes from a hobby farm background...so has gotten his hands dirty shovelling big piles of...well you know. As a writer...he's also writing about his experiences.
Melanie is an interior decorator, artist and singer. If you have a karaoke lounge nearby, that would make her really happy.
We are a meticulous couple, and will make sure your house is in as good shape, or better when we're on our way to the next destination.
