Hello everyone! I am a responsible, friendly independent woman with a passion for traveling, meeting new people and seeking new adventures. As the retired Director of a non-profit music school with grown children of my own, I've been house and pet sitting internationally for the past 6 years and loving it! During my lifetime I have owned both large and small breeds of dogs as well as cats, ducks and even mice and have cared for and loved them all! I am capable, highly responsible, adaptable and welcome new experiences. I have many excellent references from home/pet owners listed here on my profile, and all homeowners have become fast friends and have invited me back to sit. Growing up in Hawai’i and traveling a great deal as a young adult, I have a deep appreciation of other cultures and traditions. I relish the fresh perspective that this brings. Being a teacher and academic for many years I love learning, especially as an integral part of a community for a dedicated period of time. I also have first-hand knowledge of how difficult it can be to find a trustworthy person to care for your home and animals while you are away, so I am eager to be of service and put your concerns to rest.
I am a non-smoking, experienced homeowner and pet owner with a genuine love of cooking and caring for home and hearth. I have a police department background check, an international driver's licenses and a clean driving record as well as certification in pet first aid from the American Red Cross.
I bring personal values of integrity, compassion and commitment as well as a genuine enthusiasm to care for your home and animals. During my house/pet sits over the past 3 years I always try to leave a home in equal or better condition than how I found it, and I have a hot meal ready for you upon return.
