Hello Homeowner! Greetings from North Carolina! Although I live in the USA, I was born and raised in England and make frequent visits to the UK and Europe. I am a recently retired high school teacher who is active and healthy, trustworthy, honest, capable, conscientious, responsible and reliable. I love all animals, especially dogs and cats, and have successfully completed house sitting assignments in England, caring for dogs, cats, chickens and fish.
I am a non-smoker, and I do not drink, use drugs, or party. I enjoy traveling, meeting new people and seeing new places, gardening, yoga (just a beginner), walking- especially with dogs, reading, local history, bird watching, movies and British TV drama (love that Downton Abbey!)
I really love to travel and being a house/pet sitter affords me the opportunity to explore traveling in a different way. It offers me the chance to visit countries and regions that I would not have dreamed possible, sometimes off the beaten track!
Although fairly new to the concept of house/pet sitting, I have enjoyed assignments in England in the last few months. The homeowners were very pleased with my services, especially my ability to connect with their pets before they left for their travel, thus allowing them to go away secure in the knowledge that their precious companions will be well-cared for and their homes and property well-maintained in their absence. In addition, I take care of my daughter's house, two large dogs and cat when she and her husband go on holiday or have "long weekends." Also, being a home/property owner for nigh on thirty years, loving and caring for a variety of animal species, including dog, cats, horses, chickens, rabbits, birds, goldfish, etc.(not forgetting Winston, the pig) as well as a wonderful husband and three children (now grown up), has provided me with valuable experiences which make me the ideal person to be your house/pet sitter while you are away from home.
I will treat your home with respect and maintain it as I would my own, observing your routines and directives. I will love and care for your pets, tending to their needs and treating them as precious companions, and I will follow your specific instructions for their health and well-being.
