Hi, my name’s Sharon. I am a newcomer to the house sitting community and I am very excited and looking forward to all the wonderful experiences and memories this new journey will bring into my life. I hope that I can offer you and your family the peace of mind and confidence that your pets, home, gardens will be lovingly cared for, when you can’t be there.
About Me: I am a 42yr old busy professional who enjoys a healthy life balance. My position enables me to work remotely at times however my usual office hours are Monday to Thursday. Within my role I am actively involved with 2 local ‘Men’s Sheds’ organisations within our community which is immensely rewarding. I enjoy a great social life within my role through functions, events, fundraisers etc which is why, when I am not working, I cherish my ‘quiet time’ when I can simply relax, read a little and catch my breath! I also enjoy going to the gym (almost daily :)). I have a 24yr old daughter who works in aged care and lives with her partner. When her partner works out of town, she usually stays with me which I would not trade for anything! Once a mum always a mum….
I have owned pets all my life and when the last passed, I simply have not been able to replace them. I guess that will come in time. I have had house sitters myself looking after my animals in the past and I also have experienced the emotions of having to place our babies in boarding kennels. I know how precious our pets are to us as their family and how important it is to both us and them that they are cared for by me as you would care for them yourselves. I have over the years rescued and homed (kept some too!) many animals and have a proud photo album of them I cherish. I have looked after friends and family pets recently, and this has made me realize that I really do need animals in my life again. Which is the one of the reasons that I am excited for this opportunity. Animals bring me great joy and as you know, give you something to look forward to every day! If you like, I am very happy to phone you (within Australia) and you updates on how things are back at home so you have peace of mind while you are away.
I do at times work from home, and require good mobile broadband reception (both Telstra). I have my own computer and wireless usb broadband. Preferably, I would like lock-up car accommodation, however this is not a deciding factor for me.
I have a account professional profile that you are welcome to view (and Link me in too if you like!) to get to know me a little better. The link is noted in the header above or simply search Sharon Earnshaw in Toowoomba. I have a current police check that I can provide for you. I also have annual police checks and have done for many years as I am a registered Real Estate Salesperson in Queensland. I have enjoyed a wonderful career within Real Estate over the years, not only in sales, but also within property management which I trust will give you greater confidence in my genuine respect in the care for your home. I am a licensed JP and have been since I have also held a gaming licence for many years which also requires police checks and finger printing etc.
Simply, for me, house sitting will fulfill my desire to have animals in my life again. I hope that one day, after hopefully some great ‘house sitting’ references I may travel a little on future assignments too. I am also saving to build my dream home (and I dream big!) so this is another honest factor. But sincerely, I do hope that you consider me and my desire to also help you, your family and your pets, enjoy life too!
If you have any further questions for me, you are welcome to contact me at any time. And if you do choose me, I personally would love the opportunity to meet with you, your family and pets and visit your home where possible if this suits you also.
Thank you for your time and consideration, I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks and warm regards,
Sharon.
I know each and every house sitting experience will create a wonderful memory for me, and I hope that while I am there, you are off creating a wonderful memory for you too!
