I am approaching the final year of my studies where I have a summer break long enough to do something worthwhile. Since a young age the States have been calling to me so this is where I hope to travel! During my studies I have had some time to work, but not enough to fund an entire 'inclusive' trip so wherever it is possible to save some money, such as with accommodation, is high on my list of priorities!
In terms of what I can offer as a house sitter, I can tell you that I absolutely hate being dirty (perhaps all these years training in hospitals has finally got to me!), my parents always taught me to respect others property and I have grown-up with all sorts of pets - dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, frogs, stick insects... The list goes on! So with that regard I'd hope to offer some reassurance that I can take care of your home and pets brilliantly.
My motivation for heading to NYC is two-fold; I would love to see the city and I have also been offered a two week work placement out there at a company on Madison Avenue. The work is only half days in the morning and I believe only days a week - I will be able to confirm this in the coming weeks... Being able to live like a 'true' New Yorker would be incredible!
