We have decided to let our puppy grow up a little more before going on holiday without him... . We are looking for a house and dog sitter for two weeks in September within the Northern suburbs of Wellington (only 10 minutes drive to Wellington CBD) in our warm home in a quiet friendly neighbourhood. Access to the house is drive on with three steps to the front door.
Bus to the CBD is less than five minutes walk away. Local village shops, supermarket, library, cafes, takeaways, restaurants, post office, video rental shop and pub are about minutes walk away.
As well as taking care of our home, our dog needs someone to take care of him. Our dog (his name is Isaac) will be nearly seven months old when we are planning to go away. He will need quality time with you during the day for company, a couple of walks and a few plays each day. Border Terriers are known to be person-centred and very loyal dogs, which is a lovely trait in a dog. He is great company - not a 'yappy' dog - and is happy, and easy, to walk on the lead. And, he will, more than, happily (as we have discovered) sit quietly on your knee or in front of the fire in the evenings.
