At the end of December we will move to the Bellingham area in Washington state. Since we currently live in Tucson, we would love to house sit first for a while, for a couple of weeks or months, or even longer, so that we can find the right place for us to move into, which hopefully will be a live/work space with an artists paint studio. Housesitting would also allow us to save some money so that we can start building a small and very cute tree-house on a really wonderful piece of land that we have our eyes on.

I myself am moving into fine art printing, using our new large format fine art printer, and we are looking forward to living in Bellingham and meeting other like minded people. Essentially Tucson has become too hot to live, and we are looking for cooler and rainier climes. We visted the area a couple of weeks ago, and loved all the organic farms and all the green vegetation - it truly is as beautiful there as they said it is.
We have international house-sitting experience and great references. We just house-sat a large solar passive house in Prescott, took care of ten chickens,(the girls, as they were called) as well as one cat and around a large Koi pond that contained the largest Koi we ever saw, and that liked to be petted and eat out of our hands! We also took care of and watered the large desert and vegetable garden, (watered through a grey water system) and we would love to do something like this again. Its always rewarding to learn how to connect with and take care of new pets and learn who they are, and we still miss the ones we have cared for. If you managed to find it, on the video you will find the presence of my husbands favorite dog, and also a large black dog in many of his paintings. We are hoping to house-sit anywhere in the Bellingham area though - even if you don't have chickens!
