My name is Elisa and I would love to help you with your house sitting needs. I am a versatile person who enjoys traveling and meeting people. Getting to know places and different cultures has always fascinated me. These are some of the things that define me: I love nature and the outdoors, cooking, crochet, gardening, carpentry (I like the finish carpentry) reading, listening to music, sewing, walking on the trail and taking pictures of nature as it is, beautiful and inspiring. I also have a passion for creative writing and helping others. Pertaining to my family, I am a mother of two daughters; the oldest one is attending college and working towards her Associates Degree. She has the same adventurous spirit as I do, and she would like to teach English abroad. The youngest lives away from home, and she is working on attaining her high school diploma. When she finishes, she wants to pursue a career in psychology. The mind and the human behavior have always cast a spell on her inquiring soul. She is interested in the behavior and psychology of the criminal mind and what causes people with clinical disorders to do what they do. I am happy to see them on their way to independence and utilizing the talents that were bestowed upon them. As far as my work history goes, I have held jobs in the public service in customer service. I worked for financial institutions and have other experience as well but mostly in customer service oriented jobs. How I came to pursue a different career path as a house sitter? I like the sense of adventure and I love traveling to no end. In addition, I have chemical sensitivities which I was being exposed regularly on my job. Perfumes, colognes, body lotions, cleaners are not suitable for me. In general, the exposure to man-made chemicals are not good for me health. I don’t like to stay idle so I taught of a different way of interacting with customers that is more health-friendly for me, and house sitting seems to be the perfect alternative to a traditional job. As a house sitter, I am interested in assignments that are lengthy not just a few hours or days. I am able to work at home in the US or abroad in countries like Greece, Israel, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Spain, France, Germany, New Zealand, UK, Portugal and Switzerland.
