After 30 years in technology with a local University I was fortunate to be able to retire early and tap into my stress free creative side.
Upon retiring my first priority was the upkeep of my home. I personally painted the shingled exterior of the house, scraped and painted the trim, manicured the gardens, reset nails on the deck and replaced boards, and performed minor construction repairs. This was very satisfying and I developed new skills and a solid understanding of tools and product. I have always enjoyed house cosmetics and gardening, so if this is something you need don't shy away from asking me to help you.
I am fond of animals and am able to connect with them immediately. I have forever lived with cats and dogs, but decided in 2014 to no longer have pets of my own given my desire to travel. I have two grand-dogs that I am fortunate to interact with and I cared for my brothers dog who was blinded by cataracts until surgery returned 80% of his vision. Pets are family.
I love gardening and find peaceful meditation in caring for the gardens and relaxing in the beauty of color, smells and sounds of nature.
With my house in order, I am prepared for an eventful, joyous and happy retirement to include travel. I hope I can be of service to you and your family members; and in return I will travel to new places and experience opportunities.
I am sure you will find me trustworthy, friendly and responsible. For the duration of the stay, I will treat your home as if it were my home.
