I prefer medium to longer stays that last a couple of months. I love to see pictures of your pets and your home.
As a non-smoker, non-drinker, I'm someone who enjoys the quiet life - I'm available to sit for you and your pets, plants, pool, garden.
Being a highly motivated professional, who works online, I've spent the past 5 and half years staying at several people`s homes, helping to take care of their house, their garden, pool and their pets.
In Ontario I looked after families large gardens, mowing the lawns, watering, as well walking their dog and cleaning their pool.
In Mexico I lived for months in the beautiful town of San Miguel de Allende, where I stayed at a beautiful home, looking after her cats and dogs. It was fun helping to prepare their meals and make sure all the animals were very happy.
On the West Coast of the US - mostly in San Fransisco, I have taken care of several friends homes, including one with a very large elderly dog, giving them daily medication and daily walks.
I'm very responsible, extremely tidy and prefer to live in a clean and organised home. I'm a mimalist, and have cut down my possessions to just a few bags, enabling me to travel the world more easily.
Since 2013 I've been living exclusively out of and house sits, throughout Europe, Asia, the USA and Mexico.
I enjoy exercising each day, part of my routine is a jog (and some yoga) - so I'd be thrilled to take your dog for a walk!
I'm also a good cook - a vegetarian actually - who prefers good healthy home made food.

Why am I travelling? After my daughter finished high school and started her degree at college (I made helped her settle into living on campus) I decided to take a well earned break after parenting for years. She's done so well in her degree, she's now doing her post grad PhD in psychology in Perth, Australia. Yep, I'm a proud dad :)
I'm sure you can imagine, after raising a family and living in the same city for about 20 years (Brisbane, Australia) I wanted to take some time out to get to know myself and the bigger world. Traveling throughout North America, Europe and Asia has been the most wonderful adventure! I like to meet new people, hear stories and share about what we each know. I'm also a writer, and I'm part way through writing the novels of my worldly adventures (it's a trilogy infant). I've also been a web designer, I sold my web design agency company in 2010, and I'm still doing this, out of the joy of it, plus writing my books.
In the past years I've travelled from Australia, then a few months living in Bali, then over months living in Thailand - and then a few months living in Europe - Amsterdam and Berlin. Since then it's been a lot of time in North America, where I started off in Toronto and New York City, San Francisco - and then I travelled to Mexico and fell in love with that country. I still keep going over to Asia each year, and so I've been mixing it up between Thailand and Mexico.
