Hello friends!! We are a nice couple both around age fifty, both professional, very responsible, friendly and quiet, who love to see new places and are keen to find a tranquil place with internet connection in which we can both read, research, and write.
We’re both into being healthy, love cooking and trying new kinds of food, movies, photography, walking and hiking. We do love animals, though we travel too much to have our own pets - but I've left my heart with 'temporary pets' before, and currently have a super relationship with two dogs and a cat that I'm caring for.
Our home base is Toronto, Canada - though right now temporarily relocated to Bali, Indonesia for my research. We speak English, Italian, and some French and Spanish. Our preference is for longer term stays, to get to know the local place and the pets a little better. One month or longer would interest us.
We have lived in many places in the USA and Canada, love Europe (specially Rome - where we met and resided for years) and Yucatan, Mexico where we also lived, but are also interested in spending time in new places. We're especially hoping for the American South at the moment: South Carolina, North Carolina, or nearby states.
We also just like the unexpected adventure, so even if you live elsewhere, send me a message!
Cities or countryside are both good - we love downtowns as well as natural landscapes - and both of us are crazy about swimming.
Like many couples we have complementary qualities. One is a night owl, the other one is an early bird. One of us drives; the other is a cyclist and pedestrian by preference. I (Tracey) am a Professor of Architecture, and find all kinds of settings and situations interesting. My husband heads his own organization and is a researcher, translator and former ESL teacher (English as a Second Language) as well as a movie buff.
Do get in touch with us, we would love to meet you, and look after your home and your pets.
Warm regards,
Tracey
