I am a PhD student at Arizona State University and have recently been accepted into a prestigious accelerator in San Francisco (located in SOMA). As an academic, I am quite and clean and have an amazing work ethic. I will have someone caring for my home and pets in Scottsdale, so I know the importance in finding the right person to care for your property while you are away. I also have pets that need extensive caring for and also understand the difficulty with finding and entrusting your loved ones to the care of another person. So, if you also need a pet sitter - I have experience caring for pets as well as disabled Pets. One of my Cats has feline Lupus and one of my dogs was born with a degenerative bone disease, allergies, and multiple other problems. My Lab, Estrella - Tre as we like to call her, is on a special diet and needs to take a host of pills every day. She also needs to wear leg braces and have multiple small walks a day. One of my cats, Mina, is also on a special diet, takes one medication daily, and needs to be groomed because of her feline Lupus. I have learned to be a very good care taker to these special needs animals. I will miss them while I am gone and would love to find a home to stay at that would allow me to be around animals while I am there - I seem to work better with feline or canine companions close by. I am also very particular about cleanliness and would prefer to stay at a home that is usually kept fairly neat, organized, and clean.
I will be looking for a place to house sit and/or pet sit for a little over a month on or before Feb , until on or after March , . I would prefer a place that is north of SOMA and within miles or so (walking distance for me is around miles). If there is access to reliable public transit that is fine. I will be traveling to my office and the accelerator in SOMA to times a week, but other than that I am a person that prefers to be at home (writing my dissertation, programming, and working on my startup.
