Hi there! I am a late-thirties professional in the arts who is ready to permanently relocate out of city-living: looking to house-sit as a possible good fit for this time of change and transition.
I am a deeply caring, level-headed, accountable and friendly individual who will adore your pets and respectfully tend to your home. I have lots of references available, from rental to employment to personal. I keep a neat, artful, nourishing and efficient space for myself wherever I live and will treat your space as equally sacred. I'm good with plants and animals, and neighbors too :)
I can caulk a leaky tub, spackle drywall, pull weeds, sort, clean; not afraid of a hammer, lifting, or hard work. I have worked everywhere from professional Theatre, to professionally curating and installing art exhibitions, to factory and restaurant work. I'm 'artsy' with a good head on my shoulders; road star rating as a driver, once drove a fork lift for a living lol. I'm interested in wilderness, herbal medicine, sustainable living, arts, literature, social justice.
While I'd prefer small or rural, and a longer term stay (after May first), I'll happily consider any interesting location or situation. I am a dual Candian/US citizen.
I'd love to hear from you if you need a caretaker; I'll happily facilitate any communication mode you prefer, and am willing to travel to meet you if possible. I'm simply too wary as a gal to put my phone number on any internet site, but if you me we can go from there :)
