We are a retired, healthy, active, non-smoking couple. We pride ourselves on our reliability and would meet all your requirements. Previously, Alan has owned cats . We know it is important to care for a home and keep it secure and well maintained.
We would take care of your home as though our own, being very conscious of security of the property, cleanliness and leaving everything as we find it. Both of us are tidy people and respectful of other people's belongings.
We started house sitting in 2016 and all of our house owners have been extremely satisfied with our care of their pets and property. We have been referred to other people looking for sitters, and asked to return by people with whom we have had assignments. A list of completed house sits is in the References section.
Being asked to return by several house owners, is, we feel, an excellent recommendation of our ability to care responsibly and satisfactorily for your pets and to keep your home secure and in good condition. We take an interest in the gardens and pot plants and keep them attractive and watered.
During our sitting assignments we regularly contact owners electronically with photos of the pets and gardens. We leave written hand-over notes at the end of each assignment.
Mail gathered and stored safely for your return. For your on-line shopping, we do parcel pick up too!
Our shared interests include walking in the natural environment and exploring outdoors, learning about new areas we visit, reading, music, visiting art exhibitions, and gardening and Sandra enjoys yoga.

We appreciated so much having like minded & trustworthy people in our house & you looked after both house & Ruby beautifully. I think she's in mourning ... very quiet & sleeping a lot today!
So glad it all worked so well for us all. I see Alan has cleaned up the garden down below as well as the top ... what a champion, it's wonderful! Nothing but happy from our end and I hope you soon settle happily back into your life.
I'm sure if we stay in touch from time to time we will meet up again one day. Again, thank you both for all your care & happy travels when you head off in 2-3 months.
