We are looking for a non-smoking house sitter(s) who can take care of and feed our young indoor cat and older indoor dog, keep the house and pet areas tidy, and take the dog for a short walk once or twice a day. They are both very easy to get along with and very affectionate.
The Country Club Plaza, reknown shopping area is nearby with a wide range of shops and eateries and it will be beautifully lit up for the holidays. There is an outdoor ice skating rink at Crown Center shops near downtown. If you are interested in world famous BBQ or jazz music you can get your fill of both here in KC.
Our home is centrally located to the metro area. We are withing walking distance of Brookside and Waldo shops and eateries, and the Trolley Trail for running or biking. We have two bicycles and helmets available for use. Local YMCA is within walking distance.
You would need a car for your visit, unless you plan to Uber or Lyft.

We do have wifi, but no big screen, dish, or satellite tv, only good old rabbit ears on a medium sized screen, along with a vcr/dvd player. We get PBS, and a variety of other stations.
SayDee and Chloe are pretty low-key. When Saydee is awake she plays fetch and adores her belly rubs. Saydee likes short walks early in the morning and late evening when it is cooler. She takes an allergy pill 1x a day with no problem. With Saydee's double coat, we brush her daily during the hot weather which unfortunately doesn't seem to slow down her shedding. You either have to overlook the dog hair everywhere or vaccum often!
