I'm a responsible, quiet, organized, clean & tidy retired administrative assistant with a love and compassion for animals. As a life-long animal lover who has had dogs, cats, horses and more providing love and care to pets is a desire rather than a pastime. That's why I thoroughly enjoy caring for pets. Beyond having basic needs met, they will have huge amounts of love, reassurance, attention and affection.
Prior to joining this site several years ago, a number of friends asked me to care for their pets and homes - still do :-). All would gladly add to the reference info included here. They have everything from just one cat to 4 dogs, 1 cat, 2 horses and 4 goats. As a volunteer at our local animal shelter I have fostered cats and dogs, from young and healthy to old and infirm. I have often administered oral medications to dogs and on occasion insulin injections to a diabetic and nearly blind Schnauzer who was full of love and dignity - a wonderful "little man." I am calm and quiet enough that even the most timid, independent or uninterested pets warm up to me. Their pleasure is mine. Your home and property will also be respected and well cared for: People often tell me their houses look like I wasn't even there or are better than they left them. Having lived in large towns and the country, I am comfortable in both as well as being resourceful and self-sufficient.
