Hello!  Bill and Susan here.  We are a recently (early) retired couple with intentions of traveling all over the world. We are pet less for the first time in almost forty years and we thought this would be the perfect situation; we could get our animal fix while traveling and help out others.

Bill owned a pet sitting service and managed 30 sitters. Susan has always helped friends/family/neighbors with their pets from birds to bunnies.

We had Henley, a Corgi we got for our daughter, who was so awesome! When we rescued 2 cats Henley became their protector and we had the perfect family.  We had Henley for 12.5 yrs and our last cat Lucci just passed earlier this yr. Trixie our lovely torti got sick and passed about 7 yrs ago. We then rescued an old dog and only had Charlie Bear for 2.5 year but gave him a good last couple years.  To say I miss them all is not enough.

We are honest, dependable, full of integrity and will treat your home as our own and love your pets as ours as well; we love bed buddies!

We are clean, non smokers, no drugs and highly repectful of the environment. We enjoy hiking, beaches, anything outdoors, reading, movies, just living life fully. 

We really want to offer you peace of mind while you are away from your pets and home. We understand how important that is to all of us. We are extremely reliable and professional and will show your pets a fun time with tons of love!

Since covid 19 has invaded our world, rest assured  we have been highly compliant with masks, hand washing, social distancing, limited outings, etc.

Susan & Bill are well travelled, kind, caring and highly reliable house sitters with many years of experience, and we can highly recommend their services.

Susan was a prompt communicator from the moment she reached out to apply for our housesit in Basel, Switzerland. Susan & Bill arrived a day earlier so that our daughter could introduce them to our dog, Alaska, and our 2 cats, Ash and Raven, as well as showing them different spots to walk Alaska and to demonstrate the feeding routines and the apartment appliances.

While we were away for nearly 3 months, Susan and I communicated frequently via WhatsApp. I checked in with her occasionally, and she shared photos of our pets and reached out early if she had any issues (e.g. dry dog food running out sooner than expected). She also sent photos of our postal mail to make sure nothing required action.

Alaska was spoiled by them while were away, swimming in the river and coming home absolutely exhausted. Susan & Bill even took Alaska to Germany upon my request to avoid the Swiss National Day fireworks happening right outside our apartment. When one of our cats mysteriously disappeared for 12 days, Susan & Bill did everything they could, putting up missing cat posters, knocking on neighbors' doors, roaming the streets and next door gardens trying to lure him out with food. He eventually returned by himself and we were all so relieved!

Our apartment and plants were also well taken care of during our absence and Susan & Bill left everything in working order and clean.

Susan & Bill stayed a day longer so that we could see each other before their departure to tell us stories of their experiences while we were away.

We would definitely love to have them back if they ever want to visit Basel again!

We were very lucky in having Sue and Bill come sit for us.  A great couple who have become our friends. They arrived 2 days before we left and we realised we had chosen well.  Bill was meticulous in noting all the details required in looking after our house and animals. Lexi our GSD needed to have eye drops and eye cream everyday, nothing was to much trouble. 

Whilst we were away they sent regular updates and were in constant contact.  The minor issues that came up were dealt with straight away.

On our return the animals were in supurb condition and very happy.  It was obvious they had settled very well with Bill and Sue.  The house was exactly as we left it.

I sincerley hope that they visit again. We feel we have made friends for life and would recomend them for house sitting without any reservations.

Bill and Susan did a wonderful job taking care of our home and our scaredy cat Oscar. Susan was an excellent communicator from the time of our agreement in April all the way thru to our post sit followup. She was especially great with reassuring photos and videos of Oscar while we were gone. That was really important to me.

Bill- "the question man"- made sure he knew all the details and put them on the computer just in case. I really liked that, too.

I think they had a good time in spite of the rain, and I know Oscar was very comfortable. My house was sparkling clean when we got home, and Susan even left a drawing and a painting she had done that was inspired by our special spot. Fantastic!

I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and fun couple to love on their animals and take good care of their home. I sure hope to have them back, too!
