Hi there! We are a Canadian couple driving around the world in a our minivan. We divide our time between working and travelling. We've driven from the Yukon to Tierra Del Fuego and now are working our way around. Joanne is a freelance photographer mostly working for editorial clients and Dan is an all around mechanical guy working in the bush of the Yukon, he can fix almost anything. We love animals and would love to look after yours because we miss not having our own. It is nice to stop for a while and be able to work on photographs and have a home to take care of, another thing we miss due to being on the road a lot. Joanne also loves gardening and would be so happy to take care of your plants and garden :) We have both been home owners in the past, and together have lots of experinece dealing with any issues that may arise. We are both do it yourself type people who love to contribute and help with anything you would need, We live off the grid in the Yukon for part of the year and are pros at being self sufficent. We are new to housesitting with this site but have taken care of lots of homes over the last 6 years on the road, from friends to families to rentals that we have stayed at, all with great love.
