Hello. I am 55, and I joined Housecarers almost 3 years ago. I am a mother of 3 wonderful adults and one 15-year-old shih tzu named Roxy, who travels with me. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and am also a Licensed Massage Therapist. I love art, writing, plants, animals, gardening, and being in nature with mountains, ocean, and trees. My children and I had a pet-sitting business where they grew up in Nashville, TN. My children and family are spread out around the country, and I love to spend extended time with them. I house sit and pet sit for friends, family, and referrals in Park City and Moab UT, Montana, NM, Colorado, Idaho, Washington, Oregon (Bend and Yachats- northern and central OR ) and Northern and Central coast California. I live in Park City, UT, but I love to travel and look for any excuse to be in new environments with beautiful forests and nature that inspire me. I want to eventually relocate to one of these areas, but I want to have the opportunity to spend time there. I love to write, learn new things, study, hike, bike, and explore. I love cooking and healthy food. My home was on a Christmas tour in our neighborhood in previous years, and my yard won Best Yard for several years in Franklin, TN. I love to organize and take care of the home. I have designed and built 2 custom homes and renovated and gutted a home as well. I would be and am a great caretaker while you are away. I grew up with and have always had a pet, mostly dogs but also a cat. I am also knowledgeable and able to feed horses. I was recently accepted into a Graduate program where most of my studies are remote. I can study anywhere with a good wifi connection and would need this for homestays.
