Merry Christmas everyone.               SORRY WE ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME BUT PLEASE READ ON FOR FUTURE REFERENCE................... Hi everyone, we have just completed our first farm sit (after doing many housesits)in Taralga NSW (with a donkey, small ponies, horses, sheep plus rapidly increasing number of lambs, alpacas, cows and steers and a bull - calves and a milking cow, an orphan lamb which we were feeding, pigs piglets ( of which we had to care for) and a whole bunch of chooks)and then moved on to Eden. Sadly we had to cut that sit short but again moved back to the Taralga farm for another weeks, adding another horses, pups and another milking cow to our agenda. Then it will be on to Bungendore on st Dec for another weeks. In the new year we are booked until early May for a week sit in Nelson Bay NSW. Please read on..for a bit about us.... Hi we are Jenny & Maurice, experienced sitters since , after getting together in . A retired couple & who enjoy travel and love to house sit. We love all creatures great and small. Having had pets of our own, we have also sat large and small dogs, cats, chooks, goats, fish, birds and all the above farm animals and have great respect for native flora and fauna. We have looked after alternative lifestyle homes (converted barn shed with alternative power and composting toilet) in the Vic Alps, a converted dairy in the Huon in Tas, a goat farm in Tassy also stone homes etc around the country and know how precious water can be in rural areas with tanks (and everywhere else of course). We prefer the mountains, rural area, coastal or bush settings, or properties on acreage no matter how remote to cities and do not usually like suburbia as such but are happy to consider all requests as long as you can fit our ft caravan in your yard comfortably. If you dont ask us you will never know...will you...? PLEASE NOTE - Due to our house being on the market in Tassie at this time we do not want to inconvenience you by accepting any sits from May but once it is sold we are free to travel anywhere anytime. We will consider long (which we prefer) but will consider short sits if we are in your area. We would love to do a sit on Kangaroo Island at some stage, the Grampians, NSW southern highlands or Hunter Valley, Wilsons Prom or the Mornington Peninsula, Kangaroo Valley, Clare Valley or any other place really (also looking for a long sit ( months or longer if possible) in the Sth West WA late next year - or mid ) so anywhere in between ie: SA, Nullarbor. We have also fallen in love with country and coastal NSW...and we thought Tassie was beautiful!! We are happy to consider all offers or sits. Our home is where the heart is...and where we happen to be living at the time. We are very security conscious and extremely reliable. We have excellent references and police clearances. We are non smokers. We do not party. Your property and your beloved pets and animals would be well looked after in your abscence. We can be contacted by email or mobile anytime.
