My stay with Bella, Robbie, Molly and Pepper was for one month and I loved the location looking out on the ocean, sitting out on the front patio and reading, and walking down to the shops in the area.  The pups were very easy to take care of in terms of some just wanting some cuddles but also others being more self-sufficient and happy just to putter about the house.  The cleaner came and ket things tidy, though at times the pups had some accidents indoors and there was some cleanup for that to take care of.  Karen was very good at replying and checking in, keeping me informed when anyone would be stopping by (assistants, gardner, etc).   Easy stay and adorable dogs.

I have been house and pet sitting for six years. House and dog sitting for Karen and Tom were by far, the best house and dog sitting I have had in those six years. For several reasons:

1) First, it was in San Diego. Which, in my opinion, has the best weather in the world.

2) Second, the location of the house within San Diego. The house faces the ocean. No other house or other building between Tom and Karen's house and the ocean. That gives it great views and a fresh ocean breeze.

3) Third, the quality of the house. It's modern, very big, and mostly has glass walls and glass doors on the ocean-facing side. As I was using mostly their living room for my work, every time I lifted my eyes from the laptop, I was staring right at the ocean.

4) Then there are their four wonderful sweet dogs, Robbie, Pepper, Bella and Molly.

5) Then there are Karen and Tom themselves, who have been very nice, left me detailed instructions, accommodated my need to stay an extra night after they came back, and told me to feel free to eat their food while house and dog sitting for them. 

6) To top it off, Tom and Karen had a housekeeper come over twice a week. She did a very thorough job cleaning. So, I did enjoy a very clean house and didn't have to do any cleaning while living there, nor any end-of-sit cleaning myself.

7) Karen and Tom also had a gardener come in once a week, and a handyman came over an average of once to twice a week to fix whatever needed fixing. So, my only responsibilities were the four dogs and the indoor plants.

8) The duration of the sit, a whole month, was also great as it justified the round road trip from my townhouse in the California Central Valley to their house.

I highly recommend house and dog sitting for Karen and Tom, and I would definitely house and dog sit for them again if given another chance.

Ms. Karen Is wonderful to work with. She had everything written out and organized. Her babies are so sweet and I would recommend this house/ pet sit to anyone who would be needed.
