Hello!
I live in Portland, OR, an interesting city with lots to do and see. There are cultural events, great restaurants and cafes and a very good public transportation system, TRIMET, so a car is not necessary to get around. I need a sitter for my two beloved feline companions, Lacie and Isadora (Issie.) They are  year old female cats and very easy to care for.

I am completely vaccinated and boostered; I would like the same for a housesitter.

Someone who LOVES CATS and has EXPERIENCE with cats is required. NO SMOKERS! No other house obligations required, just keep the house clean and tidy while here, and water indoor plants as needed. The care and well-being of my feline companions is MY MAIN CONCERN. I want them to be safe, comfortable and happy in my absence. They are very sweet cats and easy care. They may be shy at first, especially Issie, but they will respond to a kind and patient sitter. We live a pretty peaceful life at our condo, so loud voices or LOUD music would not work.

My condo is comfortable and cozy. It is a 727 sq. ft., one bedroom condo, in a safe and pleasant complex. Portland offers lots to do. The Portland Art Museum is two blocks away, the Oregon Historical Society one block away, Safeway market a block and a half, and many cafes, restaurants, stores and shops are right in my area. Portland State University is one block away. Performimg arts venues are within walking distance or a short streetcar ride away. The waterfront as well is about a ten or fifteen minute walk, or a short streetcar ride away. There is a street car stop at the top end of my street and a wonderful Saturday Farmers Market one block away as well. Trader Joe's, Powell's Bookstore and Fred Meyers are short streetcar rides away. Really, there is an abundance of things to do here. Also, it is easy to get walking and hiking trails.

My car is not available; however, I walk everywhere and rarely use my car. As I said, public transportation will get you anywhere you need to go, and to most places you'd like to go.

Please respond if you would like to talk more about this house/pet sit.

Thank you,

Collene
