Hello!
I am looking for a sitter for my beloved kitty from September 12, 2024 until October 14, 2024. I live in Portland, Oregon, which is an interesting city with lots to do and see. There are cultural events, great restaurants and cafes and a very good public transportation system, TRIMET, so a car is not necessary to get around. My beloved feline companion, Isadora (Issie) is a 12.5 year old female cat and very easy to care for. She is a sweet cat. I prefer sitters who are vaccinated/boostered for Covid.
Someone who LOVES CATS and who has EXPERIENCE with cats is required. NO SMOKERS! No other house obligations required, just keep the condo clean and tidy while here, and water indoor and balcony plants as needed. The care and well-being of my feline companion is MY MAIN CONCERN. I want her to be safe, comfortable and happy in my absence. She may be shy at first, but she will respond to a kind and patient sitter. We live a pretty peaceful life at our condo, so a loud voice or loud music would not work.
My condo is a one bedroom, comfortable and cozy 600 sq.ft. condo in a safe and pleasant complex. There is a washer/dryer in the unit. As I mentioned, Portland offers lots to do. The Portland Art Museum is two blocks away, the Oregon Historical Society one block away, and cafes, restaurants, stores and shops are right in my area. Portland State University is across the street. Safeway market is two blocks away, Whole Foods about six blocks away and can be accessed by streetcar; also, the well-known Powell's Bookstore is at that same streetcar stop. Performimg Arts venues and cinemas are within walking distance or a short streetcar ride away. The waterfront as well is about a ten or fifteen minute walk, or a short streetcar ride away. There is a streetcar stop at the top end of my street and a wonderful Farmers Market one block away. Trader Joe's and Fred Meyers are short streetcar rides away. Really, there is an abundance of things to do here. Also, it is easy to get to walking and hiking trails. Parking may be available in the condo complex.
Please respond if you would like to talk more about this house/pet sit.
Thank you,
Collene
