We have a beautiful home that we share with 6 cats in the Midhurst area of Springwater. We are less than 5 minutes to the City of Barrie where you'll find shopping and entertainment. There is much to do in the area in any season but if you don't want to venture out, we have a pool in the summer and a hot tub in the winter. We also have a games room in our basement that has a pool table, ping pong and dart board.

I have been housesitting for almost 2 years now, and looking after The Squad of Six (my nickname for the group of cats) was incredibly easy! They were all a delight - and as the house is very large, the cats are very comfortable in their own spaces within. They were well behaved, a delight to play with (most of them are 2 yr old kittens) and their little personalities were fun to get to know. The same is true for Suzanne and Peter ; ) !! They were gracious hosts, couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome. They invited me to socialize with some friends one evening around a bonfire - which was very nice! I have Suzanne and Peter to thank for introducing me to the game of Pickleball ! They are wonderful good people!
If anyone thinks six cats might be "too many" - I can assure you that THESE six cats are easy to care for. They know their routine, and are all very healthy. Each day, after breakfast, I generally went out to explore the local area and returned late afternoon/early evening to feed them their supper. Some days if I was at the house, I'd give them a mini-lunch meal, but it wasn't everyday (and Suzanne and Peter were good about this). This is one housesit that I don't think anyone would be disappointed with !
