We had a fantastic time looking after Neta and Chris's two lovely adult cats (plus two bonus foster kittens!) in their comfortable, modern, light-filled apartment in Pontevedra. The city is wonderfully walkable, with shops, restaurants, groceries, museums, and everything you might need close by. This is a great housesit for people who don't have a car.
The apartment faces a bustling pedestrian street, so you hear the lively buzz of conversation throughout the day, which makes you feel like you live there. The bedroom is in the back, though, so you sleep quietly at night.
Neta provided lots of information about caring for the cats and her home and made sure we had all the supplies we needed. If we had any questions, she was very attentive and always replied quickly. She even introduced us to a few of her local English-speaking friends and relatives, so we felt well-supported during our sit. We would happily come back any time!

We spent a month house sitting for Nita and Chris in their lovely, comfortable apartment conveniently located in the centre of Pontevedra near cafes, restaurants and supermarkets.
We cared for their 2 cats, Leo & Marilyn who are very sweet and easy to care for. Marilyn loves to sit on your lap, whereas Leo is a bit more restrained and will just sit close to you.
Nita & Chris are a kind, generous couple who collected us from the nearby train station and drove us to the airport after the sit. They also took us for a trip to a nearby village which was a lovely gesture. We enjoyed a meal together before and after their holiday and had some lovely conversations.
Communication with them was excellent and we would certainly love to return to sit for them again.

Thank you Nita and Chris for being the superhosts hosts. This great couple went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and well organized. They had pre-arranged all of the necessities for the Fur Babies. I arrived a few days early. Nita and Chris took time to help me learn my way around the village they live in. Their home was warm and welcoming and conveniently located to anything you might need. All within close walking distance. Nita took time to communicate with me often while away, making sure that I had everything I needed for the Fur Babies and myself while in her home. Their Fur Babies gave me more cuddles and loves than anyone could have imagined. Nita and Chris are a very caring couple. I will very definitely house sit for them anytime, as before I left I felt like family. Any house sitter that Nita and Chris would choose would be very lucky to have the opportunity to know this couple and the loving collection of Fur Babies.

Nita and Chris are very organised and super-welcoming. They provided transport to and from the airport which was extremely thoughtful. Their home is modern, comfortable with high-speed internet and a good TV system with a vast range of channels. The apartment is located centrally with restaurants, bars and a supermarket in the same street. The local bus stop, which is located nearby, provides a regular, efficient & a good value service. There are beautiful beaches offering some lovely walks. The fur babies were a delight, playful, cuddly and a pleasure to look after. We miss them already! Thank you Nita and Chris for a great house-sit!!!!!
