We have 2 independent but attention loving black cats who are 11 and 14 years old. They like to be fed twice a day. We live in a 1200 sq ft top duplex (our lovely sister in law and her family live in the lower duplex) in a great part of East Van, lots of restaurants and coffee shops around. Transit options are plenty. Thanks!

Leo and JR are 2 adorable cats, very easy to take care of . Leo loves to cuddle up with you for hours on the couch. It took a couple of days for JR to come for a cuddle and he finally did and felt at ease.
The house is very clean and the bed is super comfortable . It situated in a neat area of East Van, so it was fun to explore the coffee shops around and also some vintage stores close by, with a fairly walking distance to Commercial drive ( if you like to walk).
Dan and Lori were available to answer any of my questions.
I highly recommend this housesit.

We recommend housesitting here! Leo and JR are the best. Their care is simple and straightforward and getting to know them is really rewarding.
Lori and Dan are excellent communicators.
The house itself is perfect. We had our own room with a queen bed and an empty wardrobe for our things, there was a deep soaker tub in the bathroom, and the kitchen had all the tools we needed. We also really enjoyed using the real wood fireplace!
The location was also perfect - grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants were all a 5-20 min walk away. Transit was steps away, and the highway was a short drive away. Lots of trees and unique homes in this neighbourhood. Very Vancouver, in the best way.
Eternally grateful for our stay here.

Both Leo and JR were a pleasure to care for. They are undemanding and friendly.
JR especially would love to cuddle and after a few days Leo would also.
Lori and Dan were easy going and provided all the information needed ,they made me feel right at home.
The house is located close to several coffee shops and less than a half hour walk to false creek or Cambie street.
This was my second sit and would welcome the opportunity to do it again.

Leo and JR were lovely kitties to care for, and their home was really comfortable and a good home base for a Vancouver stay. Location is central with lots of transit connections nearby as well as amenities in walking distance. Lori was a great host who gave good instructions for caring for her cats and home. She was available for questions before and during the sit, and prompt to reply. The sit was seamless and went smoothly from start to finish. Thank you, Lori, I recommend sitting for JR & Leo in their home.
