Tim and Gale Harvey: We are an “early retirement” couple originally from Maine, USA. Gale retired from General Dynamics and Tim sold his sign and graphics company, so we are comfortably independent. We have traveled to many areas of the US, the Caribbean, and Central America. We shun resorts, preferring to find rentals in local rooms or cottages. We also have traveled in Europe and the UK by train and canal boat to small villages and historical sites.
Together, we have remodeled several old houses, and have lots of home maintenance experience. Tim is a great carpenter and good at solving many plumbing, electrical and heating puzzles. Gale is the painter/decorator of the duo. Both of us are avid gardeners of shrubs, flowers and veggies. Throughout the growth of our family we have cared for a menagerie of house pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, ducks, chickens, and … our daughter’s favorite … rodents. We are non- smokers, but we do enjoy a good glass of wine at day’s end Longer term house care (One to Six months) is our preference.
