We do not display on the public side of the site the Identifiable personal infomation, including Real Name, Email Address, Phone Numbers, except in the controlled cases below.

House Sitter Members

House sitters may choose to supply contact phone numbers, and skype and whatsapp address.

These direct contact details will only be displayed to Logged on Homeowner members who the House sitter has first communicated with through the secure, internal Housecarers message System.

Identity Verification Information.

To help create and maintain a trusted environment, you may elect to provide identity verification information (such as images of your Passport, or driving license, as permitted by applicable laws) or other authentication information. To learn more, see our Help FAQ about providing identification at Housecarers.com.

Homeowner members may choose to have their Mobile or Cell Numbers validated to obtain a verification rating on their public profile.

House Sitters may choose to upload references from Home Owners to their private Reference Library.

These references will only be displayed to Logged on Homeowner members who the House sitter has first communicated with through the secure, internal Housecarers message System.

House Sitters may choose to upload Photos.

These photos will be displayed on the members public profile.

House Sitters may choose embed YouTube Videos on their public profile.

The YouTube video will play in their public profile or at the members YouTube site.

Home Owner Members

Homeowners may choose to supply contact phone numbers and Address.

These contact details are for Housecarers Internal Verificaton purposes only.

These photos will be displayed on the members public profile.

Financial / Payment information

Housecarers does not process or store financial details such as credit and debit cards. All subscription payments are handled securely, on our behalf by Paypal, Clickbank and Pinpayments.

We do not do auto-renewals or recurring payments. Invitations to renew are sent out one month prior to expiry.

The payment processors send us receipts which we securely retain for verification. The receipts do not contain credit or debit card Numbers

2. With whom your information may be shared.

HouseCarers.com will not sell, rent or barter your personal information. However, we may from time to time aggregate statistical information regarding our customers, traffic patterns and site usage. Such aggregate information will not individually identify any user.

We reserve the right to disclose any information if such action is necessary (a) to conform to the requirements of the law or to comply with legal process or subpoena served on HouseCarers.com, (b) to protect and defend the legal rights or property of HouseCarers.com, the Site, or its users, or (c) in an emergency, to protect the health and safety of its users or the general public. We further reserve the right to release any information concerning any user if that user participates (or is reasonably suspected of participating) in any illegal activity, even without a subpoena, warrant, or other court order. In every update that we send, we will include an option to discontinue receipt of future updates. HouseCarers.com reserves the right to limit any registrations on our Site to those who will accept our information and to those who will provide the requested information.

As part of offering and providing customizable and personalized services, HouseCarers.com uses cookies to store and sometimes track information about you. 5. How HouseCarers.com protects your personal information.

For all our transactions, we employ reasonable and current Internet security methods and technologies. When you set a password for your housecarers account, we use technology that masks it so no one at the company can see it. We mask passwords through a process called hashing, which replaces the actual password with a random set of numbers and letters that are stored in Housecarers's system. This allows our systems to validate your account credentials without revealing your password. This is an industry standard. Where appropriate, we password protect, use encryption techniques and install firewalls. We strive to protect you. We encourage our participating service providers to adopt and honor their own consumer privacy policies. Once we receive your information, we use reasonable efforts to ensure its security on our systems.

Passwords Must be a minimum of 8 characters and may contain up to 20 characters. We recommend you use:- A mix of lower and upper case Letters; Numbers; and any special characters such as %,&@!$ to make your password unique and hard to crack. Passwords should not be duplicated at other sites, and we recommend the use of a password manager.

We keep a record of your log-ins to accounts. We use the information we gather from you to monitor for unusual or suspicious activity in your account, to communicate with you about your account, and as additional information that can be used to validate who you are if you need to recover your account or your account has been or may be compromised. For your protection we lock accounts after 10 failed login attempts.

Photo ID Verification

If you elect to upload verification Photo Id: The Images are encrypted on upload, and encrypted at rest. The images are used Internally for Identity Verification only.

6. How you can access, update or delete your information.

As part of your use of the Site, you are responsible for maintaining and updating, as applicable, your membership Registration Data with current, accurate and complete information. You may view, update and/or edit the membership Data you have provided to HouseCarers.com by logging in to your account and following the appropriate instructions.

You may request deletion of all your data by sending a request through the Housecarers Contact form.

7. What else you should know about your online privacy.

The Site may also contain links to other web sites and advertising. The privacy policies of those web sites and advertisers may significantly differ from that of our Site. It is your responsibility to contact such web site operator or advertiser directly to determine their privacy policy.

The Site provides search results of registered Housesitter Members, and Rgistered Homeowner Member Postings. HouseCarers.com endeavours through our internal systems to verify the integrity of information posted. However, we cannot guarantee the integrity of information submitted by Members and you acknowledge and agree that HouseCarers.com is not responsible for the content or information contained therein. HouseCarers.com cannot and does not guarantee, represent, or warrant that the content or information supplied by Housecarers members is accurate, legal and/or inoffensive.

By using the Site to search for Housesitters or send messages to HouseCarers Members (Home Owners or House Sitters and you agree and understand that HouseCarers.com shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damages or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with your use of, or reliance on, the Site to obtain search results and/or send messages to other members. In no event will HouseCarers.com be liable for any damages.

Member and Site Visitor Conduct

The Service is provided to individuals only. Any unauthorized commercial use of the Service, or the resale of its services except under an HouseCarers.com affiliate agreement, is expressly prohibited. You agree to abide by all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations and are solely responsible for all acts or omissions that occur under your account or password, including the content of your transmissions through the Service. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree not to:

Use the Service in connection with chain letters, junk messages, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise);

Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses, images, profile content, without the consent of housecarers.com; transmit through the Service unlawful, harassing, libelous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material of any kind or nature;

Transmit any material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or any other harmful or deleterious programs;

Interfere with or disrupt networks connected to the Service or violate the regulations, policies or procedures of such networks;

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Service, through password mining or any other means; or

Interfere with another member's use and enjoyment of the Service or another entity's use and enjoyment of similar services.

Subscription Payments

Some membership upgrades provided by HouseCarers.com  will be sold through clicbank.com paypal.com and pinpayments.com

We do not guarantee you will get a housesit as the choice is the homeowners. There are no refunds for un-used advertising, or pro-rata refunds.

Privacy of Referees

Please do not post names and details of referees on your public ad. This page is indexed in google and your referees will not like showing up in google. We provide a private references library for uploading references - click tools references in the left menu after login. Posting references in your ad is impacting the privacy of your referees, and we do not allow this under the terms of use of our site.
Members may use the two-way review system to review other members. The reviews must not contain identifiable information.

Posting of private personal details of referees‘ public profiles can result in suspension of ad or cancellation of membership without refunds.

Misuse of the Site

Housesitting is a mutual arrangement, directly between House Sitter members on this site and Homeowner members of this site only. The site may not be used to propose House Sitters who are not members of this site.

House sitter members may not use this site for deceptive business practices and your profile must be accurate and true representation.

If you are unable to fulfil your commitment to the Homeowner you must give the homeowner notice and use all possible means to contact the Homeowner. Many Homeowners have already committed to airfares, and dates and cannot be let down. When you make a commitment with the homeowner you should swap all alternate contact methods, so communications can be kept open at all times.

Violations of the conditions of the site can result in suspension of your ad and/ or cancellation of membership without refunds.

House Sitters must take their agreed responsibilites and commitments seriously. This include home, pet and Garden care.

We strongly recommend the supplied housesitting agreement is signed by both sides. A tempate is provided in the members dashboard help area. This can be customised to fit the indidual House Sit.

Homeowner Housesit Postings

The Housesit postings are visible to website visitors and indexed by search engines. A member login is not required to view the posting. A housesitter login is required to communicate with Homeowner members, via the secure internal message system. Homeowner Members should not exchange direct contact details until they feel safe with the other member. Members must not include any identifiable information on their posting. A public username (nick name) must not resemble and email address or a real name.

Reviews are visible to public visitors and must not contain identifiable information.

Home owners may only Post Housesits for your own home. Postings of behalf of other Homeowners are not permitted.

Home owners must give full disclosure of the condition of their home, number of pets, requirements, and any other factors that impact the decision of the House Sitter to commit to the housesit. In other words the House Sitters should not be surprised to find things are not as expected when they arrive. It is strongly recommended that the homeowner supplies photos of the inside of the home and surrounds to the housesitter.

Surveillance cameras

Housecarers does not permit the use of active Surveillance cameras within the interior of the home. Homeowners must disclose the location of any installed internal and external cameras.

Homeonwers must confirm that all internal cameras are deactivated. The Housesitter can cover any internal cameras for their peace of mind.

This also confirms the right of the Housesitter for "Peaceful enjoyment of their housesit" as set out in the Housesitting Agreement.

House sitter Housesit Postings

The Housesitter postings are visible to website visitors and indexed by search engines. A member login is not required to view the posting. A Homeowner login is required to communicate with Housesitters via the secure internal message system. Housesitter Members should not exchange direct contact details until they feel safe with the other member. Members must not include any identifiable information on their posting. A public username (nick name) must not resemble and email address or a real name.

References and documents uploaded by the housesitter can only be viewed by Homeowner Members who have communicated via the secure messages system.

Reviews are visible to public visitors and must not contain identifiable information.

Home owners may only post Housesits for your own home. Postings of behalf of other Homeowners are not permitted.

House Sitting Complaints

House sitting complaints (from House Sitter or Home Owner) should be submitted via the Contact form. The complaint should be objective and in point from with evidence.

Housecarers takes all complaints seriously. We receive responses from both sides. Housecarers may terminate the membership of Homeowner or Housesitter where it is evident either side is unreasonable, unfair or negligent.

Housecarers cannot provide legal advise and will not arbitrate on complex cases. In these cases the parties should seek independent legal Advise.

Violations of the Terms and Conditions of the site

Can result in suspension of your ad and/ or cancellation of membership without refund.

My hope is to find an individual or couple who will over-see care of our villa here in Nayarit, Mexico while we are absent during the low season.

The villa is 4 levels all together. Different levels, though connected by an interior staircase, are independent of each other as suites have their own kitchenettes and bathrooms and balconies.

There may be guests on the 3rd level during this time period who may book through airbnb or VRBO.

I have a property manager so care of guests is in his capable hands though a welcome on your part and sharing of house "how to's" helps and is hoped for. Unfortunately, we don't get many guests during the summer.

WHAT RESPONSIBILITIES ARE REQUIRE OF THE HOUSESITTER

Overseeing care of home and garden: Water plants as needed. Make sure housekeeper cleans thoroughly. Housekeeper comes 2 days a week and attends to all areas of cleaning from dusting to mopping.

Be adept trouble shooters: Make sure all is in working order, ask that lights are replaced as needed, etc. We have a handyman/ landscaper who comes every Wednesday, full day, who can attend to any "fix it" or "replace it" needs should they occur. Your job will be to point out any house needs as soon as noticed and report anything that goes amiss to me and property manager.

WHAT ARE THE GOOD FEATURES OF THE PROPERTY AND LOCATION

The Villa is located on the hillside that overlooks the entire Chacala Bay. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach. The Villa is located in town, but remains very private.

Villa has 4 bedroom suites (2 of which have kitchenettes), 5 bathrooms and one main kitchen, and living area. Villa also has cable television, Netflix, AC and great WiFi.

Chacala is an amazing coastal village nestled alongside the most beautiful beach in all of Nayarit according to Moon's Pacific Coast of Mexico.

WHAT'S BEEN OFFERED

1. To start with: You will be staying in the Garden suite which is located on the Garden level. Villa is located in an Extraordinarily Beautiful Beach Village = Chacala, Nayarit, Mexico!
2. Full use of main kitchen, bar, living room and dining area.
3. WiFi, Cable T.V., electricity & propane gas included
4. Essentially you have no rent to stay in one of the world’s most beautiful settings in X-change for: DEVOTED care of villa, greeting & welcoming of vrbo and/or airbnb guests (few & far between in summer months but hopefully we'll have some guests as they help pay the villa's upkeep costs...)
Chacala has markets that can supply all the basics, a veggie and fruit market that's devoted to presenting the freshest selection, tortilla factory, fish markets and multiple restaurants.

WHAT DOES THE HOUSESITTER NEED TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING TO THIS ASSIGNMENT

Villagers are friendly and internationals who have discovered Chacala appreciate its specialness and are a great group!

Summer time is the rainy season in this part of Mexico which is refreshing when it occurs -- usually evenings. There is some construction going on around the house which will hopefully be finished soon but be prepared for some noise in the morning/afternoon. Workers are very friendly and respect your privacy.  Hopefully it will not effect you.

Though we have internet, VOIP service (free calls to Canada/US), cable TV, abundant lighting throughout home, losing electricity for a day during a summer storm can and does happen. It could be a whole town event which is usually a better condition than just our neighbourhood event as "the fix" happens more quickly when it's the whole town that lost power.

Last but not least, we will give special consideration to any person or couple who would like to contribute a couple hrs a week to working with our primary school children during the months of September and October. Our primary school is very small (17 students all together, 1st - 6th grade and the school yr ends July 7 and resumes August 18). This hoped for link up is not a make or break deal, more like the icing on the cake deal if the most important component is in place and that is: vigilant villa care = Being observant, pointing out a roof leak, plugged toilet, torn screen, tile crack at onset & contacting our property manager who will send the pros to fix as needed, when needed.

We live on 2 acres at Whiteside, 24 km from downtown Brisbane, QLD. We have 2 lovely Cocker Spaniels, a cat,6 hens and an ancient horse.

We require a mature person or couple, preferably with farm or DIY experience, to walk the dogs, feed the animals, collect the eggs and enjoy the lifestyle. Our home is a modern 3 bedroom residence, all on one level. It has an indoor Spa, great for relaxing, and an outdoor pool. The gardens are extensive but low maintenance due to mulching and auto watering systems. The lawns should not require mowing during the period of our absence.

We are near to the North Pine Dam which has large parklands and barbecue facilities and lots or walking tracks. A car is essential as the shops are 4 km away and there is no public transport. Three bedroom house in the Brookside neighborhoodof Tulsa. Brookside is right on the river, and the house is about a half mile walk from the trail that runs along the river.

You would be caring for a small dog that requires an evening walk of at least 20 minutes, and a morning walk if you won't be home during the day to let her in and out (we have a fenced backyard, but she is never left there when we're out of the house), and two inside only cats who would need their litterbox changed daily. All animals have food and water available at all times, so you would only need to refill as necessary.

Aside from taking in the mail and newspapers, no other services would be required. We do not havea TV but we do have have high speed wireless internet. Brookside is considered one of the more exciting/trendy neighborhoods of tulsa. We are also a little over two miles from the Philbrook museum of art and five minutes off I-44, giving you quick access to anywhere else in the city. I require a nonsmoking house sitter to sit a house and to feed fish only until July 5th in Midland.

The house is old and not fancy. If you want a beautiful house, don't apply. There is a queen bed with a hard futon mattress on it or a single mattress.

There is one bathroom with a shower. This sit will suit someone who is not looking for a fancy house but who doesn't care what the house looks like but just needs a place to stay till July 5.

Good character references required. You can move in this week if you are suitable.
