If you are outside of the U.S. seeking a housesitter, please contact me using .
Contacting each other via the HouseCarers is extremely cumbersome and I can't always check my mailbox on a timely basis.

I am a retired librarian who owns her own home and loves caring for it. I worked at a vet clinic while I was in college. I am a trained "hiking buddy" for the dogs at the local humane society.
My cat, Cinnabar, lived to be 21½, so I "speak" both dogs and cats fluently and I enjoy pet care for all sorts of critters. During the short growing season I enjoy tending to my "food forest" garden. I have hosted and have been hosted by folks from all over the world, often in housesitting mode, so I have experience with writing clear instructions that I expect to be followed, and in following same.
I am a trained member of my county's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), for which background checks are required, so you should rest assured that I can pass any background check with flying colors. I have included a scan of my CERT badge in my photo gallery, for your review.
Please read Michelle Straka's review of me as a petsitter connected to my profile -- as a result of her first experience with me, she now uses me as her regular petsitter.
Now that I am retired and on "permanent vacation", I'd really enjoy pet/housesitting for you!
Thanks for reading my profile!
