Available for short term (up to a month) housesits. We are a married, healthy retired couple both non smokers and are very keen gardeners. We ran our landscaping and garden maintenance business for twenty years before selling it to our son. I am a retired Executive Assistant who worked for the Tasmanian Government for twenty five years. We are keen to housesit in any area and love animals. We retired in 2010 and moved to the Sunshine Coast from Hobart in 2012 and are keen to see Australia, we would love the opportunity to try other regions. Being retired gives us lots of time to look after your home, garden and pets. We are available now and look forward to discussing your requirements.
We have experience with most animals, John has bred canaries and finches since he was a child and we now feed the native bird population of lorikeets, butcher birds, blue cheeked honey eaters and magpies. We have had Cocker Spaniels since we married in 1973 and John has had them since he was a child. Our last boy, a beautiful Blue Roan called Buckley (Collingwood supporters but don't hold that against us) passed away in 2017 at age 15. Our children have had mice, guinea pigs, rabbits and gold fish and budgies so we have a lot of experience with animals.
Our daughter who was 37 passed away in 2017, we have a beautiful grandson here on the sunny coast and also have the beautiful family of our son in Hobart. We have Max (9) and Brydie (5) in Hobart and Kai (5) up here.
