We are a healthy, active, non-smoking retired couple. I was an administrator in a very active clinic and my husband of thirty-eight years was a locomotive engineer.
We have been homeowners for over thirty-nine years along with operating our seasonal cottage. We very much respect and understand the responsibilities of caring for a home.
My husband is very handy/mechanical and I am known by family and friends as a "well organized neat-nik". We enjoy house-sitting as it provides us the opportunity to experience and learn about different communities, countries and cultures; meet interesting people and provide a service and security to homeowners.
We respect and care for properties as through they were our own.
Our recent house-sitting experiences include a secluded oceanfront home in British Columbia, Canada. Two months in a small village in Fiji as well as two long term house-sits on the island of Molokai in Hawaii.
Our hobbies include hiking, cooking, reading and exploring. We have maintained wonderful relationships with our homeowners and can certainly supply their contact information should you require references.
Please feel free to contact us if you would like more information.
