My former occupation says it already: I love to see new neighborhoods and the world!
What better way to live in different places, having sweet four legged company and interesting local people to talk to than
HOUSE PET SITTING!
I travel for longer periods of time (up to 2 months) and all around the globe anyway, having a nice house sit or two lined up during that time -specially with sweet "furry kidds" to take care of - makes these trips so much more memorable. Not to mention the wonderful pets, people and places I get to know.
Born and raised (and now back) in Germany with all the good traits of being punctual, organized, clean and absolutely dependable; you can trust me with your most precious Pets and Property.
I have volunteered at the Arizona Humane Society for almost six years and encountered all kinds of beautiful new friends, canine and feline alike. I deal with unexpected situations in a calm and responsible way and of course, I treat people and pets with respect and courtesy.
My other volunteering experience includes public speaking, touring and providing art lectures as a docent at the Phoenix Art Museum for over 15 years and working for a prominent Historic House Museum in Town.
I'm very flexible with location/time/duration, as long as you provide me with all the important information about the handling and special needs of your pets, your house and any emergency procedures.
On a personal note: I do not smoke, drink or do drugs.
I would like to arrive a day or two earlier to get to know you and to be properly introduced to your extended Fur-Family; their routine and your expectations, and for you and all creatures involved to meet me in person.
My preferred surroundings include a clean and smoke-free house, some groceries for the start and enough supplies to keep your household and pets in great shape. Just in case - if possible, please keep your newspaper delivered and maybe even your car available to me for short errands in your area.
Sightseeing and exploring will be on my schedule (and with a rental car) after my pet adventures in your house, not during my stay; but I would be grateful for your tips and input.
At the end of my assignment taking loving care of your pets, home and garden, please provide me with a reference letter to be published on this site. Thank you!
I'd love to hear from you and your pets, because while I trust you - you can always "TrustMe2" !
