Not AvailableWe raised our seven kids on thirty-three acres along with horses, dogs, cats and goats. Taekwondo, mountain biking, archery and skiing are our favorites. We built our house and love to keep busy with improvements and projects. We are retired now and ready to see the world!

Duane and Sara looked after our home and three Bichon dogs for a month this summer. They are a friendly, open and energetic couple, experienced with animals and newly retired after raising a large family. From the beginning, they answered our questions with thoughtful answers, and quickly responded to our emails. Over early chats, we found common interests and it felt like welcoming old friends when they arrived. Our communication while away was excellent; they emailed frequently and responded quickly to notes from us. They not only took excellent care of our home, but during our time away, both did many small clean-up projects around the home, garden and pool. Sara kept our home spotless. We appreciated their common sense approach, attentiveness, and willingness to handle everything. Our dogs were calm, well fed, and lovingly looked after. They obviously adored Duane and Sara and it showed in how settled they were on our return.
This was our first experience with Housecarers, and we were naturally a little anxious about leaving for a long period of time. We read many bios. After checking Duane and Sara's references, all extremely positive about their reliability and responsiveness, we felt very reassured whille we were away. Personally, they are so friendly, charming and caring, we felt we've made some wonderful new friends. We have already asked them for a return trip next year, and can highly recommend them to watch your home and animals as you would yourself. They are real gems and we look forward to seeing them again!
