Hello,

This is Jim and Bonnie. We are experienced house sitters, former pet owners, and do foster care of kittens and dogs, from our local animal shelter.

We are an active, responsible, fun loving, retired, non-smoking couple who love animals and spending time in new places.

We both have retired from careers in Higher Education administration.

We are long time homeowners who know about maintenance and upkeep.

Currently we are choosing not to own pets but want the pleasure of caring for yours. We want to explore places that are new to us. We live in Ashland Oregon (Home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival) and perhaps we could even do a house trade. Take Care and happy travels to you.

PS  We have had experiences with chickens, dogs, puppies, kittens, cats, tortoises and one horse some who needed medication.

When it comes to plants and animals, Bonnie and Jim sure know what they're doing. We have a lot of indoor plants and some of them were not doing too great before we left on our vacation. When we came home some of them were in better shape than before.    They also took great care of all our outdoor potted outdoor plants.  But we were the most impressed with how they took care of our two lovebirds. Unfortunately our female lovebird became ill while we were away and we received regular updates on her condition. It is a great skill to administer antibiotics to a tiny lovebird that is not used to being handled. They did an outstanding job.
