After running my own appraisal business for 22 years, my children are grown and I am able to travel, experience different areas and cultures.
In June/July of 2016 I did a wonderful 35 day housesit in Costa Rica (see reference) and was able to enjoy the weather, local culture, dining, sightseeing daytrips----Pura Vida!!
For 30 days, I housesat a small inn in Roatan. And, I've been to several repeat sits in California and St. Louis.
A few years ago, I experienced the losses of my two beautiful, sweet and gentle Newfoundland dogs (see photos). They were my pals, best friends and protectors!!
I am a non-smoking, single, "neat freak", responsible, energetic walker/hiker, 65 year old, detail-oriented woman. Your animals are in loving hands and your home well cared for! I will walk/hike with them, (if they like), give medicine, shots (one of my newfies had numerous allergies), give affection, cuddles and always speak to and pet them in a loving manner.
After chatting via FB (or similar), I could arrive early (if approved) to gain knowledge of the home and animals, all the "ins and outs", etc, etc.
