Retired early from VW-AUDI-Dealership in Regina management after 39 years in 2007,FAYE retired after 35 years working part time..She has a green thumb and works every spring for 6 weeks at a greenhouse, keeps a very clean home.extra fussy,Also she has a home based pottery studio as a hobby  I am very handy at home repairs etc.Willing to do minor repairs if you have tools...We have retired since 2007 and have spent winters in southern USA at a number of locations renting homes and home,pet sitting,.Would be willing to take care of a cat or dog.etc We have a 5 yearold Golden Retriever,Molly, gets along with other dogs,cats etc.She is not a barker...She is with us 24/7. 

We have home,dog,chicken and cat sat in New Mexico 2 years in a row Southern BC, Vancouver Island, Denver and Central Texas,Tucson,Mississippi,Alabama,Etc..Willing to home,dog,cat etc sit anywhere in North America,we also have rented in between pet sitting so very easy to accommodate dates etc 

We walk every day with Molly so would be no problem walking your pets etc.if needed. We have had 6 shots each for covid plus flu shot and Molly has all vet shots,she travels with us for home and pet sitting 

Available APPROX  Nov to March,every year,all locations.

It is with great pleasure to enthusiastically and highly recommend John and Faye Karney as caretakers for your home and furry family members while you are away. 

We had the wonderful opportunity to meet John and Faye a few years back while we travelled out of country on two different occasions.  We became aware of home and pet care exchange opportunities through a good friend and neighbor and we are so pleased and happy that we became part of this wonderful community.

John and Faye are incredibly kind, thoughtful, responsible, conscientious and clean folks. Their four legged family member Molly has to be one of the sweetest, calmest and gentlest Golden Retrievers we have met.  When John and Faye first looked after our home in 2019 our pups were 11 years old (Cody) and 9 months old (Lexi) both Weimaraners.  Molly, Cody and Lexi all fit together splendidly and all enjoyed their time together.  John and Faye are very active and love to go on walks and explore.  Most times they bring the pups along with them as long as it is safe and allowed.  They followed our requests and preferences perfectly and took care of our home as if it were their own.

John and Faye live deep in Saskatchewan’s Cyprus Hills Provincial Park and prefer to travel south during the challenging winters.  Our homes are in San Diego, California and Tucson, Arizona and our fall and winter trips lined up well with their travel schedules.  If it were not for the Covid crisis and the lockdown between Canada and the USA, we would have loved to have had them visit again.  In fact, it is our hope that if they are anywhere near our location, we would enjoy them visiting even if we do not have house sit opportunity.  

It is my belief that you will enjoy meeting John and Faye and will appreciate them looking after your home and furry family members.
