We are a retired, healthy, active, non-smoking couple. We pride ourselves on our reliability and would meet all your requirements. In the past, we have each owned family dogs and working dogs, and cats as pets. We have owned property and know it is important to care for a home and keep it secure.
During 2018 we enjoyed two house sits - six weeks in a Brisbane, Australia, suburb caring for house and garden. We were recommended to this house owner by the house owner of our housesit in September 2017. Everything was to the complete satisfaction of the houseowner and she has invited us to care for her house during a future time when she is away. Our second sit for the year was two weeks in rural Victoria looking after a large home on acreage with hens to attend to which we thoroughly enjoyed. These home owners are also interested in having us return when they have extended leave.
An enjoyable and successful housesit was completed from 7 to 28 September 2017, looking after home, garden and gold fish, in Brisbane. The houseowner's mother lived in a nursing home and we agreed to visit her whilst we housesat as other family members were unavailable to do so.
For the month of June 2017 we cared for a home and special pot plants also in Brisbane. This was a successful housesit. It was a return assignment, having been asked by the homeowners to return, having cared for their property four years ago. We feel this is a good recommendation for our ability to housesit satisfactorily and to meet the homeowners' needs.
A house sitting assignment in Perth for the month of April 2017, caring for cat, tropical fish and four bedroom home, pool and garden, was a pleasant, happy assignment and both parties were very pleased with the outcome. Testimonial below.
We had a very successful house sitting assignment in Napier, NZ in April/May 2016, caring for cat and large, highset home. The owners were very happy with the way we cared for their pet, home, and garden. Testimonial below.
We would enjoy the company of your pets and take responsible care of them. Should you want to hear how your pets are faring while you are away, we would communicate with you by your preferred method, phone, text, or . During our Perth assignment we regularly ed with photos of their pets and garden in bloom.
One of our interests is walking in the natural environment and exploring outdoors. This could be combined with walking dogs in our care as we have done with our own dogs in the past.
We would take care of your home as though it was our own, being very conscious of security of the property. Both of us are tidy people and respectful of other people's belongings. Pot plants, garden and lawns would be maintained and cared for. Mail gathered and stored safely for your return, or re-addressed to you.

We have had a great night's sleep after the flight - so I just wanted to send you an to thank you both for the lovely way you looked after our home and pets.
It was so good to get back last night and find everything just the way we left it and Possum waiting at the front door for us! You helped make our holiday by being so reliable and caring about everything.
I will write a reference for you. You can rest assured that it will be very good! If there is anything else we can do for you please let us know.

We appreciated so much having like minded & trustworthy people in our house & you looked after both house & Ruby beautifully. I think she's in mourning ... very quiet & sleeping a lot today!
So glad it all worked so well for us all. I see Alan has cleaned up the garden down below as well as the top ... what a champion, it's wonderful! Nothing but happy from our end and I hope you soon settle happily back into your life.
I'm sure if we stay in touch from time to time we will meet up again one day. Again, thank you both for all your care & happy travels when you head off in 2-3 months.
